Sally's Weekly Update for 09/09/11

What an extraordinary couple of days at the US Open Tennis Championship! What drama!

I did add to my collection of signed caps. This time, the very dour Andy Murray did the honors. Rafa remains elusive.

Back to books,

Here's the latest update. Hope your reading year is as satisfying as mine. I've already compiled quite a list of "favorites."

Have a good weekend.

Weekly Update 9/9/11

SIGNED COPIES NOW AVAILABLE

Laura Lippman signed copies of her latest, The Most Dangerous Thing. Five friends come together when the youngest and wildest of them dies a violent death. It is the first time they have been together for years - and the revelations begin. Each of these old friends has a secret and each begins to wonder if their secret has been discovered - and if someone within their circle is out to destroy them. $25.99

Children of Paranoia by Trevor Shane is a dystopian novel set in a time when The War is the only thing that matters. Joseph has been killing people on behalf of a cause that he believes in but doesn’t fully understand. The War is governed by a rigid set of rules, and fought by two distinct sides - one good and one evil. The only unknown is which side is which. When Joseph meets Maria, his purpose becomes unimportant, but he’s about to learn that leaving The War can be more dangerous than fighting it. $25.95
