Author of the Week: Georges Simenon

The brilliant Belgian creator of Jules Maigret was a prolific novelist and ranks among the handful of all-time best selling writers of mystery fiction, both for his detective series ands for his outstanding novels of psychological suspense. Maigret is counted among the top half-dozen detectives of all time, and the author’s portrayal of Paris is second to none. We have acquired an extensive collection of British and American first editions of the Maigret novels, as well as an excellent sampling of his crime novels.
