Weekly Update 7/31/09

News About Some Upcoming Books.....

Nine Dragons by Michael Connelly is the latest Harry Bosch mystery and it will be our Crime Collectors Club selection for October.

It is, like The Scarecrow, a UK first we have discovered.

We hate that!

We are still making Connelly the Crime Club selection but I am going to order signed UK editions if that is possible.

If you would like a UK signed edition (no price yet but we’re guessing around $48.00) please let us know so we can order the appropriate quantities from the UK.

Everybody wants a signed edition of Dan Brown’s latest, The Lost Symbol. We have heard from Brown’s publicist and we are told no, no way, nyet. fuggedaboutit! No signings.

We have ordered our copies. If you want to support your favorite independent bookstore, please put in your orders with us so we can make sure that we have ordered enough.

We have first US editions of The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson. This is the second book in the three-book series. $25.95

OUR NEXT EVENT

Jason Starr will be here to talk about and sign his latest

Panic Attack

Thursday, August 6th

6.30p.m. - 8.00 p.m.

Refreshments will be served.
